    DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) it is a very high speed connection which have a lot of bandwidth. The data transfer rate of the DSL connection is usually near 10 Mbps it is always use in huge industries and mills due to the heavy traffic flow and the need of the companies.  It is also use in the homes and little organizations according to their need. The data flow in the DSL line digitally and directly it comes to the PC directly with out any interruption. That is why there is no disconnection and interruption in the line, it is always connected as the user on their computer he will connected to the DSL there is no old dial up icons etc.

    Other than the Dial up is only 56 Kbps speed which is very less as compare to DSL. And the data flows in the Dial up line in analog mode then the modem converts it in digital from. That is why the speed is low and the interruption also occurs. It is usually use in the home and very small organizations according to their need.
