How Do You Really Know That You Want To Marry?

Answer Question

I'm in the same predicament. I think that marriage is a commitment to living life on life's terms. Is this person someone who will stick it out with you through thick and thin? Are you both willing to invest 100% into each other? A marriage is constant work, will this person constantly work at it with you? Really marriage is what your relationship is now, except you have a ring and a legal piece of paper that binds you. So are you happy with your relationship now? Is there anything you wish to change? Or can't live with?  I too am considering if I should marry any advice would be helpful.

I like the point you made stating "marriage is what your relationship is now". That is a very reasonable way to look at it. I never thought of it that way. Thank you. So have you asked yourself these same questions?

You will have no hesitation about asking that person to marry you.
