What Is Peter Pan's Surname?

Peter Pan's last name was Pan. He was a fictional character created by the Scottish author JM Barrie. Barrie, who was born in 1860 and died at the age of 77, set his story on the fictional island of Neverland. Peter Pan is the story of a mischievous little boy who simply refuses to grow up. In the book, Peter is the leader of a group called the Lost Boys, a group comprising Tootles, Nibs, Slightly, Curly and The Twins. Peter Pan derives his first name (Peter) from Peter Llewelyn-Davies, the name of the youngest son of Barrie's female friend Mrs. Sylvia Llewelyn-Davies, and his last name from Pan, the Greek god of the woodlands, who like Peter Pan, was mischievous. Barrie was the unofficial guardian of Mrs Llewelyn-Davies' four sons and co-adopted them after the death of their father. Peter Pan is extremely close to Wendy, the main female character of the book, and his arch-nemesis is Captain Hook.
