What Is A Command Line Interpreter?

    A command line interpreter is a type of a computer program which reads the lines of the text that is typed on the screen by the user and then later interprets the context of a given operating system or some other programming language. The command line interpreter function lets other users to give out various commands in a very professional way.  The use of this function requires the user to know the names of the various commands and their different parameters along with the syntax of the language that they are interpreted from. From the early days of the year 1960s the main user interaction with the computers was mainly done by the command line interfaces. In many of the command line interpreters the scripting support is used to a certain extent.
