How Do You Play Racquetball?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

To play racquetball, each player needs a racquet which is slightly shorter in size than a tennis racquet, a wrist safety thong, a racquet ball (which is smooth, light in weight, hollow and made of rubber) and an eye guard.

The players serve in the service zone (which is the area which is located between the service line), the short (middle) line and the side walls of the racquetball court. The receiving zone is located between the receiving zone and the back wall. The safety zone is located between the receiving line and the short line.

Racquetball can either be played by two, three or four players. A racquetball court can either have one wall, three walls or four walls. Novices are advised to play singles, as doubles requires the players to be experienced. Racquetball is a cross between tennis and squash, but it is a relatively less expensive sport than the other two racquet sports.
