Can You Dye Your Tennis Shoe?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

There is no specific International Tennis Federation (ITF)
or United States Tennis Association (USTA) or similar rule against dyeing your tennis shoes.
However, the club, league, or tournament you play at or in may have a dress code
which prohibits such (e.g., they may require that all shoes, both tops and bottoms, be white,
as Wimbledon does). Even if there is nothing stopping you from doing so,
you would have to make sure that the dye is thoroughly dried
and does not leave a mark on the court surface,
which is against most public and private courts' rules.
