In Gestalt Theory? What are the major contibution on this theory? What are the major citicisms? Provide example from day to day life?

This theory is basically to analyze the whole without breaking it into parts. For example if we use a crazed celebrity here, like Britney Spears in some random act of kindness, grabbed a woman and pulled her out from in front of a bus that was about to hit her, this act was good, but analyzing the pieces of the act do not always yield the same responses, was the Britney Spears girl good or moral? Is a moving vehicle ethical? Was grabbing a little old lady moral or ethical? Gestalt theory rejects components of a whole, and focuses only on the entire situation without breaking it down.
