According to the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board Dr.Naseem Ashraf, Pakistan cricket is going through a series of changes that will be prolific for the team in the long run. For one, Dr.Ashraf divulged the plan of a more proper organization of the infrastructure of Pakistan cricket so as to generate greater results. Moreover he totally rejected the notion of accolades and rewards of any kind being awarded on the basis of seniority. In lieu he clearly stated that the only benchmark for rewarding any sort of honors to any player would be his level of performance and his role in the team's successes. The PCB Chairman also assured his full support to the new skipper of the Pakistan Cricket team, Shoaib Malik. Furthermore Dr.Nasim Ashraf also addressed the issue of the national coach selection divulging to the media that the coach of the national team, the under-19 team and the A team would be announced by July 1st.
