This Question Is Answered:
How do i use layers in cs3 to dodge using layer via copy?
I want to dodge a color image by using an adjustment layer and then merging the layers to lighten the dark parts of the original photo.

At least in Photoshop CS is not possible to do it using this technique or maybe I haven't found the way to do this.
I think you should dodge it without the use of adjustment layers. You could get the desired effect making the dodge to another layer and then merging the two using layer blending options.
But if you find the answer, could you please post it?
Thanks a lot!
