Well there is a lot you can do in this gala fund raiser. First of all food stalls are a must. For this you can contact your local food chain (fast food would do great) and ask them to provide food for the day free of cost. Then you can sell it at market price and the money would go into the funds. This is possible as last month we organized a gala and were able to persuade McDonald's to help us. Apart from that focus on making the event interesting. Music is very important for this, can use the good old dedications idea. Also organize sales of Music and video CDs. There should be fun stuff like tattoo making, Henna patterns etc.
