    The UK has made it clear that it is not seeking a confrontation with Iran over the service personnel currently being held.  Nonetheless,
    it is reprehensible that Iran should parade them on television.

    The British Home Office is to become two separate departments in a matter of weeks, one office of Security and one of Justice.  Glad to see we don't follow America with everything we do.

    In Northern Ireland, the UDA has expelled members after their government hand out to stop conducting paramilitary activities.

    In Africa, in Tanzania, a summit of fourteen African nations is being held to discuss the deepening crisis in ZImbabwe.

    A Swiss man has been sentenced to ten years in prison for defacing pictures of the King of Thailand, the original sentence was twenty years.

    The US Postal Service has issued thirtieth anniversary Star Wars stamps, a set of fifteen stamps have been produced.
