This nokia has no owner, but i wanna use the phone since it's been laying around this house for a year. I wanna use the flashlight on the phone right now. It's locked. Shall i just throw it out? Anyone know a lock code? 12345 doesn't work ..

If the Nokia's official code is not working then someone certainly have changed the code. You should download the code destroying software or you can go in mobile market to open the lock of the code. It will not cost you too much. Then it will be very easy for you to use flashlight.
