What Are The Beliefs Of The Methodist Church?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

I have been a Methodist for 55+ years.  I am not aware of anything in particular that is believed by Methodists that is not also believed by most other Christian churches.  The church does allow all present to participate in Communion whether they are members of the church or not.  They do have to be considering becoming a Christian or already be a Christian.
The reverse is not necessarily true, that is the Methodist church does not believe in everything every other Christian church believes in.
I think it is a very established, low key church for most but some can be very involved in evangelism and will be supported by the leadership.
