Matt Damon is a Hollywood actor. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on the 8th October, 1970.
After graduating from high school, Damon attended Harvard, where he also took part in acting classes. At the age of 18, Damon had one line to say in 'Mystic Pizza' starring Julia Roberts.
Damon dropped out of Harvard, when it was thought that he would become a success following his recent role in 'Geronimo: An American Legend'.
Damon suffered some medical problems for several years following a role in 'Courage Under Fire' which required Damon to lose 40 pounds for the role.
Following this, Damon and his friend Ben Affleck developed a screenplay which would land the friends, Oscar Awards for Best Original Screenplay with 'Good Will Hunting' in 1997.
Since this time, Damon has become a massive Hollywood star. He has worked on 'Ocean's Eleven', 'The Bourne Identity', 'Dogma', 'Stuck on You' and more recently Martin Scorsese's 'The Departed' in which he stars alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.
Matt Damon has been married to his wife, Luciana Bozan Barroso since 2005. Their first daughter together, named Isabella was born in June 2006.
