I had that concern years ago. I wanted to share the news to everyone that I have some one very special. Invite your friend to family gatherings. Let your family get to know that person. Let your family get comfortable being around them. After a while they should get use to seeing them with you. I would ask them how do they feel about this lifestyle. Then tell them one on one. You do not want to tell every one in a group setting. You will know how and when to tell them. Unconditional love and they should love you no matter what your choice . My partner and I will be celebrating 15 years in 2009.
