    Can A Cat Bite To The Bone On The Thumb Cause Some Form Of Arthritis? If So, Can It Be Cured?

    I'm a 65 years old male, six weeks ago a cat bit me on my thumb above the second joint up, urgent care gave me a tetnus shot. Next day my hand swelled up and I went to ER and was admitted and they put me on augmentin IV for 2 days and swelling went down. Gave a prescription of same for which I took as directed. Now I cannot make a fist and have pain in wrist , all finger joints on that hand, shoulder, knees. Can it be cured, what kind of DR should I see. Raleigh, NC
