Who Is Your Favourite For The 2007 Champions League Final Between Liverpool And Millan?

The Champions' Trophy favourite for me would be Liverpool. There are quite a few reasons for this. For one, there is an air of relaxation about them. They won the Trophy last year, and were yet not too sure to play here this year.
They managed to play, and have been highly consistent in their approach. To me, Liverpool has been the under-rated side in the English Premier League always. And they have been patchy in their showing in the past few years at the EPL. However, this year, as in last year, come the Champions' Trophy and they have been a different side altogether. They have the talent and the pluck to win it once again.
Milan, on the other hand, will be looking for success this year, after being denied it last year, and seem really hungry for it. The way they demolished EPL champions Manchester United is a fitting statement of their intent. Their players are in good nick, and Kaka is in sublime form. I think Liverpool will win because they have a good assault unit up front and good defence.
Their strategy could be possibly to hang in for the duration of the game, take it to penalties, and once there, knock Milan over. Penalties are something that Liverpool admittedly are superb at, and if they are successful in this strategy, they would definitely be the champions again. Another approach could be to blitz Milan during the opening quarter of the game, score a couple of goals (Liverpool are capable of doing it), and then settle down. On form, it is a tough call, but I would think Liverpool would win this one yet again.

According to me, this is will be an evenly contested battle. For AC Milan, players like Kaka and Gattuso are in great form. We saw how Milan routed United. Liverpool are a much weaker team than the Red Devils.
Hence Milan are the favourites.
