It is underneath the surface of the earth that one can find a trap-door spider. There is a class of spiders called mygalomorphae, which also includes those bird-eating spiders that live in the tropical regions. A trap-door spider actually belongs to the same category as that of the bird-eating spiders. Quite large in size, this particular class of spiders has four lungs each, instead of two and the jaws of the spiders function vertically for them rather than the usual sideways movements.
The trap-door spider, with its grooming from nature, has perfected the art of burrowing underground. The jaws of the spider are equipped with a particular kind of teeth, which are used by the spider to dig its home. After digging enough for the home, it lines and adorns the place with silk and builds a trap-door that consists layers of silk and earth. Coated with moss on the outside or some other form of camouflage on the outside, the door is carefully hidden from the eyes of enemies who might harm the spider.
