My Hot Water Heater Is Troubleshooting, How To Fix?

My hot water heater is about 8 years old and has been working fine until the last few months. We no longer have as much pressure as we use to when using hot water. We use to be able to have multiple sources using hot water at the same time. Now if you have hot water running in one area, you get no water when trying to use hot water in another area.

How do you replace the control valve on a hot water heater. Need to know how to take vale off of the tank? I know how to turn the gas off and disconnect all the lines, how is the vale itself attached to the tank and how do you get it off?

Unscrew it like any other pipe.May have to use a rubber hammer and board to loosen it.
