Why is it when someone kills someone with a knife, hammer, etcetera we blame the killer, but when someone shoots someone we blame the gun and not the killer?

Because people are idiots...

And it's easy to blame a gun.

They are made to kill , but my 40 has only killed targets... Guns don't kill people- people kill people.
