For me, I find that quiet time to analyze and plan is needed.  I'm careful not to allow myself to get mired in unproductive thoughts.

You should face to your problem that made you are into adversity and feel calm, as it'll make you stronger, try to talk with family or some friends maybe they can help or have some solution and find a way to resolve it.
