In search engine optimization, social media and search engine play an important role. They help blog content to index faster and land the visitors to our blog content. So basically it will help the webmaster as well as search in finding the actual content whom the user is seeking for.

The concept of Social Bookmarking is to get your site indexed faster and to "insure" yourself that your content will be indexed first by the Search Engine because if someone else "steals" it and get's it indexed before yours does your site might get penalized for duplicate content.
