Up to a point, I can accept this. (even though I am Canadian) But, when someone else has power of attorney, and power over a persons medical decisions, then I fear that the right to die may be invoked not by the sick person but rather by the someone else, for personal gain etc.

Yes, I agree it is a dignified way, should a person decide to do so. My state doesn't even sell liquor in grocery stores, so it won't ever happen here, but also as mentioned there are some sick cruel people that may make selfish decisions for those not able to make their choice in time. … Read more
