From one point of view there has to be doubt (your "grain of disbelief") in the minds of anybody who holds beliefs about the supernatural or the dicta of the various religions. It's so darned hard to demonstrate anything that can't be measured in some way on a tangible level.

Not in my world. I don't believe in these things. I won't let the existence of an animal define my relationship.

Owls are such wonderful animals, we need to enjoy them instead of creating negative psychological effects which makes us to avoid them.
