A clone is no different from an identical twin, except created in a lab.  The clone is implanted, born and grows up.  It isn't as magical or scary as it sounds.

The big issue with cloning is that clone often have health problems.  It must have to do with some damage done in the process.

You are under the flawed assumption that one has to be born, to get a Social Security number.  However, there is no such requirement in the Social Security regulations.

So, yeah.  All those Alice clones in the Umbrella Corp labs ... Could get Social Security numbers (if there was still a government to issue them).
