Do parents genuinely find it vicariously fun to watch their kids play with the same or similar toys that they either wanted and had never gotten when they were kids or had had at one time but lost or had them taken/thrown/given away?

I know I enjoy having my nieces play with LEGOs partly because it brings back memories of when I was a kid and the things I would build.  Another part is seeing how creative they are.

[ONLY IF AGREE] Anyone else think the showers like the ones in school gyms and prisons are shockingly shameless?

Personally, I kind of find "open showers" a little strange because we never had them at school/in any of the gyms I've ever been to... People like their privacy when getting washed.
