From what I read on some sites, they never completely decompose. You usually have to cut them off and let the roots grow. They hold a lot of heat and the roots won't grow on their own. They may work for some seeds but I'll pass.
Slow internet connection so most of my news comes from TV, newspaper and The Economist. Get some from Huffpost, Yahoo but not much. Also get soem forn Wonkette.
