I don't know what i believe (in a religious sense). Some things seem to make so much sense with god, but others not at all. What can i do to find the right direction?

Do research. Look into different religions. I'm a Christian. It's not for everyone. I question my religion. The answers I find strengthen my belief.

Spend a few years building up a knowledge database. Read about the major religions -- and any minor religions that appeal -- and about science and philosophy. Read the mystics and the poets, too.

Stop going in the wrong direction. Religion is definitely the wrong direction to go in. Nothing makes sense with gods. Much makes sense with critical thinking.
