I don't think we've removed too much of anything today other than spam and a few off topic answers. Upvoting doesn't really mean much so it's best to use the "Thank Writer " instead. That may mean that the mods got to the answer and deleted it before you got there.

I think you should experiment more by trying to upvote all my answers (and downvoting all those answers that contain scriptural references (but no worthwhile content otherwise)).
