I got a nice pair of desktop speakers from CNET for about $20 about a year or so ago.

I learn best visually rather than auditorily, so I prefer to watch a demonstration with the closed captioning on or read an article in print.

Talking about it may be a very healthy thing to for yourself,  but with who?  I wonder why you took a  whole year to wait.  A rape kit and a police report would have been very helpful.
