I'm pregnant and just found out I'm having a boy. I am really set on using the name Connor for a boy but my husband's last name (Kirtley) sounds a tad odd I think, what do you think? Is there no chance it sounds okay or is it passable? Connor Kirtley.

Personally, I think Connor Kirtley sounds lovely. I even asked the opinion of my resident teen, and she said it sounds like a pop star name or an actor... So it has the youth seal of approval too :-)

What do you think about the Iranian marathon winner who flew the US flag in response to the American runners being banned from participation? (picture in answers)

Kudos to that runner! I think it's wonderful! We often see so many violent images from everywhere, including the U.S. That it's refreshing to see this simple act that speaks volumes.
