What's the dumbest story you've ever been told? (I really mean story and not lie, but if you haven't been told any exceedingly stupid stories, what's the worst lie you've ever been told?)

I used to work with a woman who took more time off than anyone I ever knew.  She would call in a few times a month saying she "flipped her car" AGAIN.  I mean how many times can you flip your car and still drive it ... Let alone walk away unscathed every time!!!  Lol
