Your employers can have say in what you do on their time.. Even at corporate social events outside of working hours you have to conduct yourself as if on company time... Even when you're off work you represent your employer. So terrible conduct on or off duty, bigotry or hateful speech including on social media, and being a law abiding citizen isn't crazy or out of the norm.
