It's called transverse orientation, some insects navigate by flying at a constant angle relative to a distant light source such as the moon, but around man-made light sources, the angle of the light source changes and it confuses the insect.

I'm not sure how valid my theory would be but i assume it's about the lightness and warmness that relieves by lamps and screens and it's differences with sunlight would be it's focus, a center and a small cycle.
