I have never been in trouble at school before but today in science I was doing group work with some noisy girls who gave me gum teacher caught us we all got silent lunch should I tell my parents?

Sure, no reason to not mention it. You accepted the gum, knowing it was against the rules .. You got caught and you paid the consequence. Its over and done with.
