“How Can I Identify My Bonsai Tree?”
“I agree with Nomad1, take the bonsai to a professional but if you can't, just go online. The first thing I would do is determine if the tree is temperate or tropical.”

“Does Anyone Know Anything About Bonsai Trees?”
“Most bonsai are very finicky about their watering. In ancient China and Japan a bonsai student was given shears on the first day but didn't touch a watering can for years. Incorrect watering will kill your bonsai faster than cutting off half of the leaves. I would focus on learning how to water properly.”

“How Did Bonsai Trees Get There NAME?”
“If your looking for the etymology of the word "bonsai", here's what I know. It comes from two Japanese words. Bon (a pot)+ sai (to plant). Bonsai was originally called "pun-sai" in ancient China where the growing of small individual trees was started.”
