“When Getting A Monroe Piercing, Do You Get To Pick Out The Stud?”
“I think so because when I got my ears pierced when I was 11, the lady let me choose which studs I wanted but they soon got infected because I was allergic to the metal. So I guess it would be the same for a monroe piercing.”

“How Do You Remove An Earring That Is Stuck In Your Ear?”
“My earrings got stuck in my ears about five weeks after I got them pierced (I was 11 years old), I found a plain silver pair and stood in the bathroom wondering what to do. I dabbed around the earrings with cold water and tied my hair out of the way. I held onto the stud and backing and took a deep breath.I pulled the earrings and eventually them came loose and I could take them out. I cried a bit because of the pain. About five minutes later the holes started to close up, so I had to work quickly. I rammed the new studs into the holes and put the old ones in the bin as they had gooey stuff all over them (they had been infected for about 3 weeks and weren't getting better although I cleaned them everyday), and hoped that these ones would help. My ears were very red and sore for about an hour afterwards but I didn't really care. My earrings healed well after that and I have had my ears pierced for about a year now. I think earrings look really nice. Take care x”

“What Should I Do To Get My Earring Out?”
“Is it stuck in your ear or is it infected? If it is infected and has not been at least 6 to 7 weeks after you got them pierced then clean them twice a day and look after them, they should heal and you can take them out. If it is stuck in your ear then maybe try and ask your piercer to help you out or (this is what I did when my earrings got stuck in my ears 2 weeks after they were pierced), dab around the earrings with cold water, take a deep breath, hold onto the earring backing and the stud, and gently pull and see if the earrings come out. If not then leave them in and see what the piercer can do. Don't force them as they might rip your ear, they might bleed (and obviously hurt) and certainly DO NOT try to pull them out if they are infected. It might hurt, but it saves you wearing earrings for the rest of your life! If they are newly pierced, go back to your piercer for advice. Take care x”

“Hi there I would wait until you're 15. I'm 12 years old and I stay home alone but Mum doesn't leave me for like more than an hour and trust me after a while it gets really boring! It's very lonely. Sometimes there is no other option so my parents must leave me by myself. It's a bit spooky being all alone and my friends can stay on their own for hours! Sometimes I think it's not fair but if I were you I would wait. Anyway, being by yourself is no fun there's nothing to do. If I were you I would be grateful to your parents, they know what's best for you. One of my friends isn't even allowed to cross the road by herself and she's 13 as well. Take care”
