“The your head is radiating body heat that is affecting the dye. Next time you dye your hair stay away from that area (approximately 1/2" from your scalp) when you first apply the dye. Make sure you leave enough to go back though with the leftover dye. Eight to ten to minutes before you rinse and wash apply the leftover dye to the roots.”
