When I said may take several months I was referring from the time of charge to the actual time before it went to court and was dealt with.....
A lot would depend on type of possession charge...
What the plea will be as in are you pleading guilty or innocent.....
If entering a guilty plea it could be dealt with fairly quickly....
If pleading innocent it could drag on to trial and the length of the trial depends on a lot of factors....
