About Me
My Interests
There is no reason those messages should be delayed or rejected. When I get home tonight, I'll check into it. I might have to call my internet provider because most things like this are way over my head, but since we've been writing for so long, your messages should be showing up. Crazy! Anyway, hope all is well.
Scientists keep coming up there but apparently they are unaware we have been researching for a VERY long time. Can things mutate? Yes. Are we working on engineering? Yes. But even then pigs and dogs may be entirely too different. Not seeing where they would be even remotely compatible. We have been trying to engineer a coating that pigs lack in their DNA in some so that their organs may be used for transplants for us as that is what is missing. We are more similar to pigs than dogs are in many ways. You'd think they would have seen pig/dogs running around by now if they were as compatible as they seem to think since it would happen often if they were, lol. Guess it hasn't been thought through to that point yet. They do it so it must be possible seems to be the thought process or belief there. Nice talking to you. I hope you reconsider leaving and at least pop in every once in awhile. I do enjoy coming across your answers and thanks. :-)
Hi there. I thought you might like to see this one. Here are some quotes from the comment to my answer (which got me a down, lol) - Assumptions are bad. (opening) - Dogs and wolves are considered different sub-species genetically, and can still cross-breed. Why not pigs and dogs. Let the scientists do their job, and see what they come out with, no room for heresay!! (ending). - I tried to explain a little again. I just thought you might like to see it. :-) - q6863314.html#a1507724
Biology website? Now i'm a little worried. Let's just leave it as a "i'm wrong, you were right" kindof thing.
And I nearly cried when you said cats are better than trees. Infact, ANY animal being better than any tree is just...crazy! Haha. Trees ask for nothing. Just water, some carbon dioxide and sunlight (and other micronutrients), but offer us SO much. Shade, shelter, food, and they look (in my opinion) SO beautiful! Probably the most beautifull living thing there is! ..but that's just me.
and i think i forgot to tell you what season it is here... It's spring. Why? Hahahaha of course im joking, but you had to have to have realised that the UK and canada both experience the same season at the same times.... It's just colder here. (but just to make sure, it's autumn right now :) )
Thanks for the thought, Aileeny. I haven't been "blurting" much. Just now and then. When something that I do know about catches my eye. I love your photo of your tuxedo cat. I had 3 cats for 14 years (they were my only children) and one was a tuxedo. Everyone loved him, he was so friendly, and funny. He always took care of the other two cats too. Was a very caring being. I miss him every day and it's been 10 years since I had to say to goodbye to him. It feels good to know that there are others like me in the world regarding the importance of these treasures. Love to you, ~Kathy
Well, I am from the capital city of canada, and everyone here has taught me the "ii" thing lol. Cats? Just like trees you say? Hahah no not at all.... Trees are so much more supperior than cats. Cats just seem to be the "mean" animal. Not exactly attacking and violent, but just... They kind of ignore and disregard you, and are much less...... Expressive? And i would just MUCH prefer a dog :) . But that's just me. And about parents not supporting you in biology? Well my parents weren't "supportive" but they weren't against it either.
And i agree completely, deforestation, and basically everything humans have done is horrible and disgusting. Enough rambling on for now.
Trees are great, --greentree7--
Well, I use X for dominant and x for recessive (x is just an example letter) but for blood typing I was told to use "i" and "ii" to represent an O blood type allele. But enough about that. I know some genetics, but i'm not too too interested in it. But as for biology in general I absolutely love it. I am especially interested in botany, and basically everything conserning plant life and anything photosynthetic. I think i was always interested in it as a kid, always concered with "why" hahaa always wondering why the sky was blue, why trees leaves change color in the fall, how seeds grow, etc. I just love everything about plants and ESPECIALLY trees. Well, you could guess my love for trees judging by my blurtit name
oh and apparently your from england? Thats pretty cool
