Are you positive on the answer artillery because I am in that same situation and I plan on getting married in a state that you don't have to be a resident of because of this and if we go to apply at another state we don't want our whole lives flip.

Sometimes when they dont get the proper sunlight and proper nutrition or when they shed their skin and it doesnt remove completely it can go blind but as much as i love anmals i am not a vet so i think you should take your turtle to onei
