I am curious if you know the answer to this, I have a tax lien on my record, have completed the tax information to find I don't owe it, and have taken it to the state tax franchise board to have them clear it. How long will it take for them to clear it? And can I take the lien release to the county its been recorded in? I am trying to close on a piece of property, and cannot until the lien is cleared, as they will take money from my sale. I am in Santa Cruz county in CA. Thanks for any help!
