Hey my name is amanda and i have a litter of pups a week old can you give any info about how to know if the mom is taking care of them its her first litter they are growing but im not sure if she is licking them so they can poo any info helps thanks

Thank you chi5958, the dog that ate de-con, is my moms poodle, she is 8 years old. My mom made her vomit up alot of it, and she wasn't sure what else to do. I did call the vet and we got her in right away, the vet kept her at her house with IV treatment and most of today, she may be fine, but still a ways to go, moms poodle is at home this evening with vit. K and some antibotic, as she may now have pnomnoia, ( sorry can't spell) so we are keeping a close eye on her. So here is what you can do if it happens to you, give dog salt water....to get them to vomit....as soon as posible......then rush them to the vet.....can also check their gums....see if pink or bright red or bleeding.....and as you said get them to the vet ASAP. Which we did. My dad is the one who put the de-con out not thinking the dog would go out in the garage.....he feels so bad right now. Now it's a wait and see game. My moms dogs name is Suzy Bubbles, we call her bubbles.....I have two of her puppies from her last litter, one female....black....names Your Majesty....call her Maj for short.....and a aprocot male named Duke......his coloring are beautiful.
