I started out at 24 mg(3 a day) as well. I'm now at only 2 pills a day and don't feel as good but really want to slowly get off suboxone so I try to take less whenever I can. The achiness happens to me if I need to take more.. So I really think you should try taking 3 at once for a few days to see if it helps. You won't get sick or anything from it. My doctor says 4 pills a day is the highest dose recommended and 3 a day worked great for me.
