I'm extremely opinionated but laid back, a walking contradiction of sorts. I am an advocate for social justice, avid lover of animals, saltwater enthusiast, a socialist at heart, and a budding activist. I may be a bleeding heart liberal, but I wholeheartedly believe that's more respectable than being individualistic, unwilling to acknowledge the perspectives and hardships of others, and being just downright narrow-minded.

Change is a coming...and I, for one, cannot be more optimistic for a better tomorrow. I am so impressed by the enthusiasm, authenticity, and charisma of the new regime that some days I have trouble mustering my usual level of cynicism... goodbye nihilism, hello hope~

Sociology, criminology, people, feminism, being an effective teacher, progression, traveling, live music, comedy, disc golf, Texas Hold'em, animals, marine environments, home improvement and decorating projects, cooking, and trying new things. I love spicy food and ethnic cuisine, soft fabrics, the sight and smell of freshly painted walls, adult swim, superhero/comic book hero movies, facials, bubble baths, a clean house, the ocean, and democracy (not necessarily in that order).
