Thanks Doug! I appreciate the feedback..So bypassing the heater core would NOT have any negative effect on engine (OTHER than not having heat in the car) right?
RE: '94 Grand AM/Replacement of Intake Manifold? Hello! Doug, THANKS for the quick response the coolant is leaking and was told after a vacuum pressure test that the leak was coming from both heater core and Intake Manifold Gasket...I will get a 2nd and 3rd estimate from another shop...Afterall, I got the estimate from FIRESTONE which is a step lower than a dealer but I realize they have quotas to meet on a spefic day..I appreciate your answer and any more feedback you can give.. MIKE
