It is never good to give an animal more medicine than the medication suggests. Also, while de-worming, it is also important to clean the house, change the sheets and make sure that the animal does not reinfect itself.

If this medicine has not worked in the next two weeks, I would suggest taking a feces sample to your local vet to see if there is another, stronger, medication that can be used to clear it up.
