Actually Missionary is right! Mary wasn't sinless, God the Father was and he provided the covering for his son. The scripture says only that mary was blessed and highly favored of the Lord. Jesus however, was sinless because he had sinless blood flowing in him and he committed no sin. The scripture says he who knew no sin became a sin offering.
