I am a freelance writer who became a freelance writer when I was one of the first people to write for Blurtit in its beginning days. Since then I have gone to write more than two thousand published articles about many and varied topics.

As a teacher for fifty years the skills I acquired helped me in my work as a freelance writer. I have two published books. You can find information and excerpts on my website.

I love to read and enjoy short stories most of all.
I like old movies and enjoy watching some of the old TV series such as Mash, the Brady Bunch and Little House on the Prairie.

I enjoy being with friends and listening stories about their lives especially when they were young.

I am from a large family and enjoy the times when my brothers and sisters get together and tell stories about their relationships with our parents. There is nothing like being raised in a large family.

I was a teacher for fifty years and have many great memories about the wide variety of students from first grade through adults who have been students of mine. I love to meet the children of my former students and tell them stories about when mom or dad was a child in grade school.
