I live in Michigan in Ottawa County. And believe it or not we were not the only ones that had called protective services. The grandparents called, and so did the neighbors they too got the same answer. Not to mention there had been some parties and when the police were called nothing again was done. I know when we were kids in the early 70's and 80's if you left a kid home alone the police were coming in and taking them and placing them in Foster Care.
